Many articles on RLW will relate directly to Ohio and solutions for America that can originate in Ohio. Ohio is an ideal location for brave experiments in the laboratory of democracy. It is a large state, though nowhere near the largest. It has a population of over 11 million- diverse and widespread. Unlike many other states of similar size, Ohio is not dominated by a single, large city. The distributed nature of Ohio’s population centers offer ideal conditions for experiments in distributed, citizen-centric policy.
A map of Ohio
Ohio’s three biggest population centers, Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, hold nearly half of Ohio’s population. These cities form a band across the state from southwest to northeast and help to divide the state into five distinct cultural regions.
